Tourism has been the city’s main source of income since the 1960s. In addition to the three-aisled town church of the Birth of the Virgin Mary, the loggia and the town gate, the representative residential buildings of the patrician families Scampicchio, Francovich and Lazzarini-Battiala, today the town museum, are worth seeing.

Labin is the ideal starting point for excursions to central Istria and the offshore Croatian islands in the Kvarner Bay.
